This collection was born from a fascination with the unsettling side of fantasy.
Not polished fairytales.
Not perfect wings and happy endings.
But the strange, beautiful space where nature, death, rebirth and magic become tangled together.
Here, mushrooms bloom from darkness. Delicate things become dangerous. Something beautiful can carry teeth. And the line between enchanting and unsettling becomes almost impossible to find.
At the heart of To Kill a Faerie is the idea that nature never truly wastes anything. What disappears becomes something else. What is buried feeds new life. What looks like an ending may simply be the beginning of another story.
